Materials: Intaglio printing inks, Somerset satin paper 250g, zinc plate, roller, cloth, etching press.
Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, loosely rolled into a thick-walled 10cm wide cylinder and dispatched signed and tracked
I roll ink onto a sheet of metal and then remove it with a cloth and cotton buds. It is then handprinted onto smooth fine art paper using an etching press. I love the painterly and translucent quality of this technique and working fast (before the ink dries) allows me to be spontaneous and produce images with atmosphere, light and movement.
