This begun as a pencil sketch which I redrew, using an etching needle onto a grounded zinc plate. I added an aquatint to achieve the tones and burnished the sky in broad sweeps to create the rays of light. The plate is inked and printed by hand for each number in the limited edition, making each one unique.
